"Hairspray" the movie - WOW!!!!

I just watched this movie yesterday and It was so good. I would be glad to pay to watch it again in the theatre. And the sounddtrack is definitely worth getting also. The story is so uplifting, the music is so positve (and catchy too), and the casting was fabulous. Travolta did a spectacular job. Having seen the movie, I don't think anyone else could have fit that role so well. The lead actress did a wonderful job singing too (all the singers did a wonderful job I thought). Unfortunately, discrimination still exists today in so many subtle and descrete forms. This movie reminds us that the courage and determination of one individual is such a powerful force of change.
