Fog Lamps

This may not bother most of you but I for one am rather curious. Why do many drivers put their fog lamps on when it's not foggy and not put their fog lamps on when it is foggy?? If these fog lamps are used regularly, they will eventually get worn out and will need to be replaced.

Hail all baseball fans!

So if you're a baseball fan like myself, I'm sure you'll agree that this year's playoffs are so exciting and captivating. Halliday's no-hitter and Cliff Lee's spectacular performance in tonight's Yankees/Rangers game 3. Each year, the playoffs produces different great memories that make baseball great. So few people whom I know like baseball at all. Sometimes I wonder if there are any baseball fans in my area. It's not even covered in much detail on the local 6 o'clock news. Anyhow, may the best team win the world series! Oh yeah, the Blue Jays rock!

2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies

The opening ceremonies were simply amazing. The singing, dancing, speeches, aerial acrobatics, marching of the athletes, and lighting of the cauldron were all spectacular. My heart remains swollen with pride as I cheer on our dedicated athletes to do their very best. I will cherish this experience for a long time to come. Hope you enjoy all that the 21st Winter Olympics has to offer!

Pants on the Ground - AAAAAAAAH!

So American Idol manages to do this to viewers every year. There's one singer out there that they put in front of the cameras who doesn't even come close to advancing to the next stage of competition and they have a really silly, outrageous song that somehow becomes popular. Remember William Hung?? Anyhow, suffice to say this singer is getting a lot of attention and fame and will probably perform live on the finale! Imagine that!

American Idol 2010!

So the 9th season of American Idol is underway and I have to say, it continues to be a very entertaining reality show to say the least. Boston was kind of cold but Atlanta had way more interesting talent! It's nice to see different kinds of accomplished artists as guest judges. Can't wait to see Ellen Degeneres though. Victoria Beckam and Mary J Blige were great.

OMG It's 2010 already!

How quickly the past year and decade has passed us by. I'm sure there is much we would like to leave behind but also much to look forward in the coming year(s). Sometimes I think new years resolutions are highly over rated. It's difficult to determine which goals are relastic and which are not. Anyhow, I for one am looking forward to the 2010 Winter Olympics, to keep on working on becoming a better nurse, and to being healthy. How about you?

This Recession Bites!

Some professionals and politicians out there are saying we are slowly recovering from this recession. Yeah right. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is working harder to save and still pay for things like car insurance, gas, and other various financial obligations. Christmas is just around the corner and I think this will be true test of how our economy is faring. We'll see...
